The Satimage osax is sometimes quoted as being faster than other Scripting
Additions.

I wish it be true, but there is a possible artefact which may let think it
is while it is not.

Smile is hiding Satimage. This was partly true in 1.7, and totally true in
1.8. This means that each command of the Satimage osax is handled by Smile
- when run in Smile, of course. This skips the osax loading mechanism,
which is slow in the Classic environment.

In other terms, a given script using the Satimage osax may run much faster
from Smile than from SE or in an applet.

Best regards,
Emmanuel
