And the complaining has worked. There's a (FMP) script step in FileMaker 5.5
which will return the File's path. I've used this to set a field and then
accessed the field via AppleScipt.

Which works quite well once you've got to grips with this.

Unless you're using 5.5 or you have a consistent path to your database files
or you set a property or...
