Hey guys thanks for your replies.
I was able to read and write to a resource using Akua Sweets
For the list
Write to the resource:
save resource from mystring in PrintResFile of type "STR#" named
"sheetsname" numbered 2010
Read the resource:
set mystring to (the resource of type "STR#" in PrintResFile named
"sheetsname" numbered 2010 with index 2 its info data) as string

Sweets have handlers that can read/write any kind of resources. My personal

advice would be to use Satimage rather than Akua.
