First of all, the designation for left justification depends on the version
of Quark that you are working with. In version 4.11 and, if I remember
right, in 3.3, the designation is:
left justified
In version 4.04, the designation is "left" and for right justification it
is "rght" (string values)
Be aware that the story is an element of the document or of a text box. If
you want to address the story, you would use the following (for 4.11):
tell story 1 of front document to set properties of paragraph 1 to
{justification: left justified}
If you want to address a box on a specific spread, then use (for 4.11)
--notice no reference to the story here
tell generic box 1 of spread 1 of document 1 to set properties of
paragraph 1 to {justification: left justified}
If you want to set the entire story to left justified, then use--notice no
reference to the paragraph here
tell story 1 of generic box 1 of spread 1 of document 1 to set
properties to {justification: left justified}
