Every now and then I run into a situation where I see that it would be

I also cannot get AS "mount volume" to work over the Internet from my
home DSL connection, no matter what syntax, slashes, etc. I use, and
believe me, I tried pretty hard. It just doesn't work (OS 9.1). I can
mount a volume on my home LAN with a script. I can manually mount the
remote volume using the Chooser via the home DSL connection. I can
mount the same volume using a script from my office machine on the
office LAN. But the same furshluggener script at home fails... I
think it could be a firewall thing on the office end or a PPPoE thing
on the other...
