Why build the timer internally?
I am building a scalable script for processing files.
It needs to do so many things. Basically the user selects all of the choices
he/she would like to use when moving files. The script then creates a
preference file for future runs (with the idle setting) instead of setting
multipe programs up. This way instead of hard coding 120 folders for 46
different jobs, it just repeats thru the prefs to complete it's work. But
now they what to be able to move files on specific days(after the 14th of
the month but before the last day of same month after 6pm and if the new
files are available). So as always instead of just building in the request I
intend to add all possible/reasonable increments complete with a closing
window where the script won't run.
I have most of it but complex thoughts yeild complex scripts, there might be
a better way.
