AppleWorks isn't the only thing out there the supports Publish/Subscribe. I'm a hard core FrameMaker user and it supports P/S, right up to the current version. And it's a really nice way to manage graphics in your documents if you can get the players on side and educated to use it. I tried to sell the idea of using it in a large corporate client's shop and it didn't fly. They were not disciplined enough. But if you use it as it was designed, and play by the rules, it's a very cool technology. Can save you a lot of manual effort.
