Scripting a reset of all receive dates in Outlook Express

  • Subject: Scripting a reset of all receive dates in Outlook Express

I've copied several hundred mail messages from an old, inactive email
account to a new mac.com account, and the whole list of messages now shows
receive dates of the day I copied them. The thing that makes me think I can
actually DO something about it is the header of each message, which still
retains the original receive date.

Does anyone know of a script to re-enter the receive dates into the Outlook
express database with the actual header info? If not, can somebody point me
to a thorough site or sites about Outlook Express scripting?

Thanks a heap,
Jim
