[I did send this message 21 hours ago. Now I'll try, again, to get through.
I just changed the contents of the first answer from 'sarcastic negativ'
to 'sarcastic positiv'. Maybe this helps...]

That's my daily source of joy! ;-)

Would these scripts be part of your brand new "XPress | Scripts 3.0 S"
package? I haven't taken the time, yet, to try them out.

A classic one: create a box, use a color. The script says "Black",
but in the document the color spec is named "Schwarz".

I recall having reported problems which none of the (North-American)
single-language version users could reproduce.

- A crash when showing the measurements palette at the end of the script.
- A crash when changing the contents of text boxes on a Master page.

I remember, too, a case where Shane explained a problem with defining
a style spec, getting a plus sign on the palette because there were
more than 20 tabs, then wiping out the tab stops from 21 upwards, using
option-clic. But this time -- with my Passport version -- I couldn't
reproduce it.

Then, again, it has been the other way round. This snippet from Shane
works for him, but here I get an error message:
---
tell application "QuarkXPress 4.11"
tell document 1
set x to object reference of (text box 1 whose selected is true)
end tell
end tell
---

Best regards,

Hans
