I have what I hope is a simple question:
I want to be able to take SimpleText pictures and convert their
file names to include a suffix (.PICT, .GIF, .JPEG) so they can be
readily uploaded for use in a web page. I am trying to figure out
how I can do the entire folder in one script. So far I am not
having much luck. Any ideas?

Thank you both for your input on adding a suffix to a bunch of files
in a folder. The examples you provided gave me some options I did
not think of, and I can see where my own weak AS skills went awry.
Time to work on my syntax!
