OS 9.2 Still has AScript/Script Editor Issues?

Hi, folks.

Anyone know a current fix for the dreaded AppleScript/Script Editor
lockups/bombs, etc. for OS 9.2?

I just got a new Quicksilver G4 with OS X and 9.2 and I got a nasty
bomb-type error already. Only the second time I've launched script editor on
this baby. Thing is, I never even got a chance to write anything. Went to
reposition the window and BAM.

So, is there a current workaround for this issue that I think still goes
back to the CarbonLib 1.3.1 deal?

Your input is greatly appreciated.
