Can't get screenName in AOL IM

  • Subject: Can't get screenName in AOL IM

I'm doing some scripting work with the latest version of AOL IM (4.3). The problem: the record describing the incoming message, which AIM passes into my script via the NuIM event, has an empty string where the screenname of the sender should be. The parameter that's supposed to indicate whether the sender is currently on AIM is also false, which makes me a little suspicious about the whole state of affairs. Any ideas or advice? (Both the sender and receiver are running v. 4.3, by the way).

Thanks,
Jim Miller
