using Quark Tags as suggested is a good suggestion. if you
are doing this a lot, though, you might find XData, from em
software helpful. it gives you a somewhat more intuitive
way to specify formatting, as well as some basic flow
control and logic, which can help if you don't always want
to format a particular field the same way.
