Hi all,
I have a script where Photoshop is creating thumbnails for me. How
do I tell
Photoshop to save the thumbnails? I would like to saveas a jpg. I
can do this in
the script, but the save location is different depending on when the
script is
run. Also, how do you tell Photoshop to close the window of the file
that it
just saved? 'close oneImage' does not work.
Add a close command to your photoshop action to close the just saved
document before it moves on to the next.
Can you describe in more detail what you mean by saving to different
locations?
I don't know of any way to have photoshop change the destination of it's
saves while in the midst of an action, but you could as alternatives add a
pause into the photoshop action where human intervention could redirect or
alternatively point photoshop to a fixed target folder for saving and after
completing the action you could manually redistribute.
I've no experience with it personally, but maybe Photoscripter could be of
some assistance here as well. With the added Applescript support it gives
photoshop maybe you can load a destination path into a variable and feed it
to photoshop on the fly...
