That's because you should not use "RA Status" any more.

And this which should work does not.

The workaround I know is to test for the IP address of the machine. The
only problem is, you have to initiate a (possibly dummy) connection unless
the IP address remains 0.0.0.0.

Remember: AS and Internet are new technologies. Later when they are more
mature, maybe Apple will provide a system to connect automatically to
Internet. In the meanwhile, what about a good ol' windoze machine?
