Hi. New to the list and to any kind of programming!!.

I started writing small routines in Applescript 1.3.7 (OS 8.6) and they work
but when moving these scripts (as applications) to an OS 8.5.1 loaded
PowerPC 860 they do not.
I wouldn't like to upgrade the system but...
will it be possible to copy the AppleScript extensions and libraries from
8.6 to 8.5.1?
What really puzzles me is that, having still no skills in programming, the
scripts are really simple (they just look for some folders and send their
content to the trash!)

Any idea?
(I'm sorry if this is too simple for this list)

Kind regards
