Does anyone have any sample scripts for Apple Mail in OS X that

Mail has a bizarre object model.
No kidding!
i don't have the answer, and i hope
the object model is fixed before too many scripts are written for it,
but you get some clues from the examples at:

Unfortunately, that doesn't really help, as none of the scripts on
that page have anything to do with getting information out of a
message. If I could just figure out how to refer to the frontmost
message, and a highlighted message in a mailbox, I'd be halfway there.
