scripting swatches in Illustrator 9

Hello.
I have written a script to create a CMYK swatch palette in Illustrator from a tab delimited list of names and values. I am trying to refine the script and don't want to resort to scripting QuickKeys if it's not absolutely necessary.

My problem is this: I would like to assign each color to be global, so that it's name appears in the color window if selected. In order to accomplish this I would normally select the "global" radio button for each swatch.

Has anyone had experience with this particular property of a swatch? I am having trouble figuring out how to access it...
