Scripting browser "select all" Edit menu command

Hi!
Wonder if anyone can help me!
I would like to use Applescript to automatically
download the text (rather than source) of a webpage
and save it!
The only way I can see is to use something like
KeyQuincer or the like to write a macro to do "select
all" of Edit command and activate it from within AS.
I can create a macro in KeyQuencer Lite, but
,unfortunately, I can't write the right AS script to
get it to work due to my lack of knowledge.
Is there anyone who has been this way before and can
provide some guidance, tips etc. and possibly the AS
script embedding such a macro call correctly?
Many thanks in advance,
Mike Galbraith
