Sending an email from Excel97

Hi everyone. I've been all over the internet trying
to research how to send a Outlook Express email from VBAExcel. One
recommendation was to use an app called "AutoType" which works but seems
awfully convoluted and it won't enter the value of (A2) no matter what I do
to it. Do anyone have any suggestions? Here is what I'm trying to do. if
cell (A2) is off + or - $2 then email mike with a subject "Your #1 cash
drawer is off by (A2)".

Thank you for any assistance.

Mike
