Scripting w/Multiple Users/Macintosh Manager

  • Subject: Scripting w/Multiple Users/Macintosh Manager

I am managing labs that use Macintosh Manager as a logon server, but I want
to use some applescripts for management of certain tasks on the
workstations. I can get all scripts to work properly while logged into the
system, but I cannot get them to operate properly with the login screen up
(i.e.. no user logged in). The scripts begin as scheduled, but do not
complete certain operations (such as emptying the trash or restarting the
computer). Anyone know why?

I would also like to use Network Assistant to run applets of these scripts
on demand, but the login screen prevents activation of any application. Is
there some way to write scripts that can be activated remotely while the
login screen is up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
