Hello everyone!
I've been building some utilities using FaceSpan, AS and a few other
applications such as the Finder, Quark, InDesign and Photoshop using
PhotoScripter. I am just working on a script for another machine and
every time I move the compiled scripts from one machine to another
they break.
If I extract the AS code from the interface, it works fine (though
the preferences etc. bet blown). In my office, I have a G4-500 and a
spanky new iBook for example. I have a mirrored development system so
I can hit the coffee shop and still code - sweet eh? FaceSpan etc.
works fine on both machines, I can develop and run scripts between
them. The necessary additions are identical and yet the !@#$% scripts
break.
What my real concern here is reliability of deployment. When I go to
migrate this stuff to a couple client sites (which will make Main
Event _real_ happy) I cannot afford to be messing with unreliable
interfaces.
Has anyone experienced this before, the reliability and breaking
thing, and if so - did they find an answer?
Thanks,
Scott
PS. FaceSpan 3.5.1 and AS 1.6
