You just needed to remove all folders from the Scripting Additions folder.
No folders. Put the actual osax files back without their folders. And if you
still have the Dialects folder (English Dialect) in there, remove it
completely. You haven't needed it since OS 8.6. (its contents are now in the
AppleScript extension). There are one or two other problems with CarbonLib
1.3.1 so you might prefer 1.2.5, but you shouldn't be using 1.0.4 I'm sure.
(Do a search at MacFixit for a link to a TIL article with links to a
download URL for 1.2.5). I'm using 1.3.1, and aside from some drag-and-drop
problems, I'm doing OK with it. It probably plays a part in increased speed
I've been seeing, or who knows what.
