Hi Carl,
In my script I inserted the following code:
play sound "Red Alert"
-where "Red Alert" is the name of the sound I embedded with ResEdit. This
is the only reference in the script to the SND resource. The "play sound"
calls on Jon's Commands. The following are a list of the commands the
script in its entirety calls on (as reported by Smile):
-- Scripting Additions used by "add - new item alert v8" :
Desktop Printer Manager : application
Display Dialog : display dialog
English Dialect : file, string, number, close, item, move
Jon's Commands : play sound
Read/Write Commands : open for access, read, close access
Standard Additions : adding folder items to
TextLists : MakeListFromText
Hope this helps.
Timothy
