It's almost exactly the same as on Windows. The VB Editor Help is actually
excellent: it's like having the entire ASLG in the Help menu. In Word, you
go to Tools--> Macro--> Visual Basic Editor. When you're there, go to Help
-->Content & Index . When the Help window comes up, you'll see links to
Visual Basic How-To Topics which you can refer back to if using the Editor
is puzzling. But scroll to the bottom and go to Microsoft Word Visual Basic
Help. Browse among the Methods, Objects, and Properties.
Most important, use a news reader to make a new account for the Microsoft
News Server at
msnews.microsoft.com
Then subscribe to
microsoft.public.word.macword2001 or microsoft.public.word.macword98
and
microsoft.public.word.vba.general
to ask questions about VBA. There are several other more specialized VBA for
Word newsgroups too. There are many people with a fantastic knowledge of
Word VBA at all these newsgroups who will help you very quickly. I got a
tremendous amount of help there. the people signing themselves as "MVP"
really know their stuff.
There are also a lot of books out, some published by MS. Check at amazon.com
for "Visual Basic Word" and you'll see.
Good luck.
