Right. I forgot about ScriptSync. I used to use it all the time.

Btw, it can launch anything, not just scripts, and it can also work the
other way around: quit apps when it detects what you told it to detect.

I used to use it to automagically have a RAMDisk created when I launched my
webbrowser, and have the RAMDisk automatically unmounted when I quit the
browser. Worked quite well.

The tricky part will be to locate it...
