Is there any way I can recover the script?
Did you try opening it with a hex editor (like HexEdit - available on versiontracker.com)? I tried
this out on a good script, and it worked.
Script code in HexEdit seems to begin with 'FasdUAS' (in the ASCII portion) and ends with FA DE DE
AD (in the hex portion). If you copy that code (copy on the hex side), you can create a new file
in ResEdit, create a 'scpt' resource, and then paste in the code. If the code is valid, this will
work. If the code is too corrupted, this probably won't work, either, but it can't hurt to try.
Let me know if you more detailed instructions, and whether it works on a corrupted script or not,
since I don't currently have a script to try it on.
