John,

I don't think I have ever been amongst that group. :-)

But seriously, I think Apple is missing an excellent marketing opportunity.
By saying "Ex" instead of "ten" Apple would step away from old boring
counting, suggesting that this increment is really something radical,
something new and exciting. (Ok, _Im_ excited) It would move the marketing
of the OS from a 'version number' concept to something more of the idea
behind the names of car brands and models. Would a Nissan 300ZX sell as well
if pronounced "blah ten"? And to avoid the year-version plague "2001" would
be a stroke of genius, too. With that, Apple can say "We're not like them!"
I would urge Apple to do so.
