Ok, I have an FMP5 Server and an FMP5 Unlimited client which opens one of my
databases from the FMP server and via Web Companion Sharing makes available
to web browsers within my company. When and if the FMP server is taken down
the Unlimited machine must be reconnected to the FMP server. That's no
problem with AppleScript, however the Web Companion Sharing must be
activated manually after the it's connected to give access to web users. I
cannot seem to find any references to automating this with applescript. Note
that the Web Companion is already loaded and there is no need to restart
FMP. I simply need to activate Web Companion Sharing for the database after
reconnecting.
