Within the Akua Sweets osax, there is: verify path, which is good. It has
the extra bonuses of doing nothing if the folders exist, and creating a
hierarchy of folders, example:
verify path "Hard Disk:folder:subfolder"
...will create this hierarchy of folders (if they don't exist.)
