There is a great shareware AppleScript based utility for this that I use all
the time. It's called "Neatnik" and you can find it at:

It can do what you want and much more.

Another possible solution is if all of these folders are seen as having the
"Standard View", perhaps you can just change your preference of the standard
view to be list view and all folders that are set to standard view will now
display this way.
