1) You have to edit the httpd.conf file found at

HD/private/etc/httpd/httpd.conf

This directory is invisible in the GUI, but visible by Telnet and Fetch.

Small tip: the "Go To" command in the Finder will let you go to otherwise invisible directories if you know where they are. Make a new browser window, select "Go To", type "/private/etc/httpd", and there you are!
