The problem is that distinguishing all the email from one list or another.
Is it possible to have your list server put a 4-character "[AS]" at the
beginning of the subject line, so that items from each list can be
identified easily?

why not set up filters to put all the list messages in their respective
folders/directories?

Most of the lists I am subscribed to have some sort of [name] at the beginning. For kindness, I often add a "[subject] more specific subject" to some emails anyway for coworkers who get TONS of mail. It helps alot. Anyway, with Eudora you can set up a filter so that if a message contains something like "email@hidden" (which all of these messages should) it will route it how you want. I wouldn't want to suggest anyone use that other mail program.
