9.1 problem mounting a volume

  • Subject: 9.1 problem mounting a volume

the following statement:

mount volume ("afp://1.2.3.4:5/volname/") as user name "validName"
with password "validPassword"

works fine on os 9.0.4. however, when tried from a 9.1 system on the
same local net it fails with a -5000 error (network permissions
error).

is this a known problem with 9.1? is there a known workaround?

thank you,
ken
