It appears that you have your Eudora set to produce vile, evil HTML-encoded
messages.

Oops...let me start again. It appears you have Eudora set to produce HTML
messages. If you turn that feature off, your returns should appear where
you put them. In an HTML message, your text will be reflowed as happens in
a web browser.

I suspect you can change that for a single message you are building using
AppleScript, but I don't know how. My Eudora produces proper messages...
Oops...My Eudora produces plain text messages when in creates a new message.
