Well, I don't think you can turn them off. But a few keyboard commands will
let you navigate the triangles effectively.
Look up "Working with Windows" in Mac help
Option click to completely expand a triangle or completely collapse one.
Or you could write a script that would set up the window the way you want to
see it.
