Program linking over IP

I'm having a real brain twister here. We've set up a whole bunch of Sorenson
Broadcasters all controlled by one script over IP. This worked fine a few
days ago when we had configured a test network with class C addresses
(192.168....). Now we had to change the network to a class A range
(10.1.....) and nothing works anymore. We have changed all the settings in
the keychain and are 100% sure that nothing else has changed.

Can anyone shed any light on this situation ?
