Network Assistant not scriptable??

  • Subject: Network Assistant not scriptable??

I would like to be able to tell Network Assistant to distribute software to
a group of workstations. I'm just trying to copy some files to about 35
users, and I would like to do it at night when no one is around.

I thought Network Assistant could wake up Macs, but it kinda looks like
"wake up" only works if the mac is sleeping, not shut down.

I would have thought that Network Assistant would be a scriptable
application, but when I try to open its dictionary, I get an error message
telling me that Network Assistant is not scriptable.

Anyone know about Network Assitant's scriptability? Or is there a way to
automate tasks within NA that I just haven't found yet?

Can anyone help me with the "automatic" software distribution idea?

This list has really helped a lot and I hope to be able to reciprocate soon.

Thanks to all, once again.
