Tell statements nested too deeply...

Occasionally, when I save in Script Debugger 2.0, I get an error which
states "Tell Statements nested to deeply". But if I immediately hit save
again, it saves without error. My script is somewhat lengthy, but it runs
fine whether or not I have encountered the error. What does this error
mean? Is this just some bug in Script Debugger or am I saving an evil
spirit in my code that's going to come out and get me when I least expect
it?
