Oops. That really should have been
if length of myString is equal to 0 then
-- do stuff for the case where the string is empty
end if
That brings up more gotchas and advice.
1) Test before you post
2) Don't post when sleepy.
3) be kind to other list users. They will be the ones who find your mistakes.
