Setting the text in a note in Now Contact

  • Subject: Setting the text in a note in Now Contact

Now Contact has a button that makes a new email message addressed to a
selected contact. (The email program is chosen via Internet Config.) This
action also creates a new note in the selected contact with a title "Sent
email" and a date (current date) and a time (current time). The note text
is set to "From: (your email address) To: (contact's email address).

I would like to manipulate the note text to say a little more (I want to
get the body text of the email and stick it into the note text). How can
I address the note text? I'm not guessing the syntax correctly (and
"guess" is what it seems to take with Now Contact).

I was hoping to do something like this"

tell application "Now Contact"
set thenotetext to blah
set note text of most recent note of selected person of contact file 1 to
thenotetext
end tell

(I know that won't work-- that's just pseudo-scripting to get the idea
across)

Any hints?
