Well, if you're willing to use an osax, check out the 4th issue of
MacScripter's Magazine. The last 2 chapters explain what to do, and your
script will be quite simple and give accurate results. In the file coming
with the magazine there is a script showing you how to extract a URL. All
you have to do is remove the http:// / www part and use your
/news/story/ part.
