I think that it is the "ftp://"; that makes it port 21, not the host name.

'http://' would use port 80, FWIW.

If I'm not mistaken, the www. is going to try to bring you in on a port
other than 21. Try ftp://username:email@hidden. I use it
that way to shoot files around often.
