Somewhere between last Fall and now, my BBEdit AppleScripts were converted into binary format. Opening these files crash the AppleScript editor and are "empty" in BBEdit (5.1) as well as empty in OS X's emacs and pico.

Opening them in emacs on a UNIX system (at my university) reveals the binary codes and some text (file names, etc.)

My question: How can I convert these files from their binary format back to plain AppleScript parse-able text?
