Using Applescript to switch displays under OSX

Hi,

I currently use an Applescript which uses Jons Commands OSAX to switch displays between that of my WSI PowerBook and an external monitor. I would like to be able to do the same thing with OSX but I do not want to have to fire up Classic to do it with Jons Commands. Is it possible to do this using "pure" Applescript and OSX?
