Kevin, I realise you're trying to do a Good Thing here, but posting folks
addresses online like that is a no-no. I'd certainly appreciate it if you
followed Chuq's A or B asap**. My webmail account (i.e. the disposable
account I use when I want to post an email address online) is already
plenty full of Make Money Fast and Hot XXX Action, thanks to those lousy
bots (I'll be dumping it shortly). I wouldn't like my lovingly-guarded and
much-cherished POP mailbox getting similarly stuffed up, however.

My e-mail address - the one I use to post to this list - has been in use for a number of years now, and I've only had about one spam message a week, sometimes less (all of the spam comes to the much more public MacCentral address, which still works). This may be pure coincidence, but the spam rate has climbed sharply in the last week or so and I'm getting two or more a day, which is far in excess of what I've had before. I have no idea what the source of the "leak" is, but I'm not happy about it, even though I now know how to increase my breast size the natural way.
