You're using PWS, right? I have also written a number of CGIs (for Web*),
and find that they sometimes behave oddly under PWS. Have you tried your
CGI with a copy of Webstar? (the download runs for two hours without a
license code, which is great for development). Also, have you tried using
another script to "tell myCGI to handle CGI request" ? If it's in the
relationship between applescript as a service and the server, one or the
other of these may point at the guilty party.
