You're using Applescript 1.6
No, 1.5.5 which I was using before I visited the pages you suggested. I
have tried other versions as well because I know how flaky AppleScript
can be.
Make sure you have an error handler.
I have various error handlers. Just to clarify - I have successfully
written CGIs before but they have all had parameters passed to the using
form data. This one has no data passed to it.
Make sure you wrap the returned html in an http header.
It's not getting to that stage. As I said, it launches, but it does not
execute. One of the very first things it does when run as a script is
create a file on my desktop - that file appears if I run the script as a
script or as an applet but not if I run it as a CGI
Post your code.
It's just over 400 lines. I'll mail it to you if you want but I don't
think anyone would be too impressed if I posted it.
