Problem with SOAP request with a password

Hi,

I am trying to use AppleScript to call a SOAP service we have written in house. The SOAP service is written in Java and published using GLUE, which is a library for easily publishing Java objects as SOAP services.

I can get things to work just fine when the SOAP service isn't password protected. However, when it is password protected, I need to pass parameters for "username" and "password".

It seems AppleScript won't pass a "password" parameter to the SOAP service. We look at the debug output on the server, and any "password" parameter is apparently not sent, but everything else is OK.

Does anyone have any hints, or experience accessing SOAP services from AppleScript?

Many thanks,

Simon
