Can you tell me where this is located or how I might do this cause I hold
down control and then the folder and there is no menu bar allows me to
script a folder in os9????????

Special Features

There are a number of special scripting features built into the Mac OS which
provide the ability to create very powerful workflow automations easily.

Folder Actions

The Mac OS gives you the ability to "attach" scripts to folders so that
opening, closing, moving the folder, or adding or removing items from the
folder will cause the attached scripts to execute.

For example, dropping files into an attached folder could trigger a script
which would automatically duplicate the added items to a backup folder on
another disk.

Attaching a Folder Action script is as easy as clicking on the folder while
holding the Control key down, selecting "Attach a Folder Action..." from the
popup menu, and choosing a compiled script file.
